Possible Merger[change source]

Could we merge 'Flag' and 'A Symbol' together? The distinction seems unnecessary and the second one seems to be a continuation of the first one. I'm slightly afraid of editing this as this talk page was deleted, and there appears to be an edit war going on.

It seems 'Flag' talks about the original object, whereas 'A Symbol' talks about the use of its symbol as a means of propaganda and/or publicity. That would be a reason for keeping the sections separate. Either way it's not really worth a dispute. Macdonald-ross (talk) 07:41, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stage 3 Primary Students[change source]

Stage 3 Primary school students from a school in New South Wales are about to look at this page as part of their History and Science projects for Term 4, 2018. They will be posting to this talk page using the accounts S3Kumera and S3Potatoes. They will be proposing their changes to this talk page before editing. Please let them know if you have an interest in this page whether you agree or disagree with their proposals! :)

Countries that the miners came from.[change source]

We want to add some information about which countries the miners came from, including Ireland, Greece, Hungary, England, Germany, the United States and China.

Gold Rush[change source]

What was a "Gold Rush"?

Gold was discovered in California, USA in 1848, and many rushed to dig it up and get rich. But many people didn't get much or barely any. In 1848 gold was worth $20.67. Wow, that's a lot!

Gold Worth[change source]

We think we should talk about the worth of gold back then, on the introduction.

Punishment[change source]

Punishment I think we should add the topic about what they did for punishment to the people who didn't have a license and they were in the goldfield and were mining. They would usually be tied to a tree if they didn't have a license since they didn't have any jail cells. They could also get fined and lose their mines.hitgs

Population of Ballarat[change source]

We would like to add another section in this article. The new section will be about how the population was a problem in the Rebellion.when the population increased it got crowded which makes people stressed then angry and this is part of how the fight happened. Strange Edits by Khaja Sai and others[change source]

It looks like this page has been vandalised. It is possible to revert the page back to the last good version by S3Kumera? It looks like someone did a code edit and mangled the sidebar code with the main content.

UPDATE: S3Kumera has removed the edits as they seemed to be just copied and pasted from English Wikipedia with no changes and no references.
