The outcome of this request for deletion was to  Keep. Clear argument to keep, though simplifying needed Peterdownunder (talk) 07:07, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sxologist has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: Page does not meet WP:N or WP:RS, only 2 views per month, one of them being me. The organisation closed in 2013 and the content isn't very legible for simple readers either Sxologist (talk) 03:06, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.

Discussion[change source]

  • First of all, we do not delete articles because they have no page views. I have edited several articles; and came back years later, and the article had not changed. Yes, Christianity and homosexuality are two things that don't go together well. Exodus international, even if it doesn't exist anymore, is clearly notable (see the EnWP article). They proposed some "conversion therapy"; where they claimed they could "heal" homosexuals, but they never provided any meaningful reference that this therapy actually worked. There was also a controversy, were John Paulk, a member of the board of Exodus international, was found drinking in a gay bar in the 2000s. Yes, our article may lack the references, but that is something easily fixed, and also no reason to delete the article. The article we have may need work, but that's out of scope here. In my book, this is a clear keep--Eptalon (talk) 00:53, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just to clarify: In 2018, the Vatican stated that homosexuality is not an illness; for this reason, the Vatican is against conversion therapy.--Eptalon (talk) 01:30, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Eptalon. ShadowBallX (talk) 01:04, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I think it should go – no one is going to improve it, it's not simple nor notable. The main wiki page has it covered. Exodus also wasn't that big; NARTH was more prominent. Sxologist (talk) 01:36, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not simple and not notable. Delete. Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:47, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Keep we don’t delete articles because they are complex unless they have been directly copied. Is a notable topic. --IWI (talk) 11:02, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
