Mercury and Venus skies[change source]

@Drbogdan The Mercury sky is not accurate here: the photo is not taken from the surface of Mercury. I am fairly sure that the Venus image is not a real photo, and not what the sky looks like from Venus. Is there some reason you added these photos? @Lights and freedom: (and others) - Seems both images are from NASA and were uploaded by others - the Mercury view ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:EW1027346412Gnomap.png ) seems authentic, but yes, it's not taken from the surface of Mercury; the Venus view, is a 3D-related view ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Maat_Mons_on_Venus.jpg ) - both images seem to have been the best available at the time of adding them to the article afaik - better, more appropriate, views for the article, if now available, are welcome of course - hope this helps in some way - in any case - Stay Safe and Healthy !! @Drbogdan: I guess the Mercury one is okay. The Venus one should be removed because apparently the sky on Venus may look orange, so a simulated picture with a black sky isn't helpful. Lights and freedom (talk) 17:11, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
