Fast food is very unhealthy causing illnesses and obesetiy

Proposed merge with Take-out[change source]

It seems there is very little difference, if any, in colloquial usage between the two. Fast food is usually take-out, whereas take-out is usually fast food. Both are considered junk food. It might be interesting to add where each term is more popular. Combining these two would produce a better article. User:Rus793 (talk) 04:08, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I don't think so. I order meals from restaurants which may take 30 minutes to prepare. These restaurants are not similar to fast food joints. And I see people eating in Wendy's every day. So I think there is a need for separate pages. If we merge them we'll just get people saying they're not the same thing. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:17, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you may have a point. I looked into it more when I patrolled and improved the article. Apparently, it differs considerably from the area in which I live. I changed the image from that of fast food to a more typical take-out. That helps make a more distinct difference. I'll withdraw the suggestion to merge.
