I find saying that George Orwell criticises communism in his writings rather insulting, being himself a fighter in the Spanish Civil War inside a catalan communist party. His critics went to autoritarian regimes such as Stalin's Soviet Union.

I agree It was not communism itself but the Authoritarianism that came with regimes such as Stalin's,

Seriously however who reading simple English wikipedia will be up to the standard of Orwell yet?
