Sections copied without any simplification[change source]

This is another unsimplified transwiki copy from En that needs cleanup. The article is named correctly and needed so should not be deleted, but much of the content cannot remain here.

These sections had not been simplified at all, or only in the slightest ways, such as punctuation.

  • History (One phrase "At the time of its incorporation in 1751" simplified. One section moved into a different position.)
  • After the Revolution (one or two words changed)
  • African-American history (just a few words in the first sentence changed, otherwise 100%)
  • After the Civil War 100% match
  • Early 20th century
  • Gentrification 100% match
  • Geography (2 words changed)
  • Transportation (2 words changed)
  • Education (One phrase "Throughout the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries" changed. Otherwise 100%)
  • Use as a filming location (Only film-->movie changed as per MoS. No other simplification, just copied and pasted.
