I changed the text on "Fraeulein" from "ancient" to "generally obsolete" (which still might be too strong). In the 1950s, the word was in standard use in southern Germany; in the 1960s, it was still being taught with-out qualification by U. S. high-school and college German departments; in the first decade of the 21st century, it was still used for bank tellers in northern Germany. Forty-seven percent of people asked in a survey in Germany said they used the word (e.g., to call a waitress). For a fuller discussion, see the German Wik article on the word. Map issues[change source]

As far as I can tell, the world map is something a Wikimedia editor did. It has some lacunae, e.g., Chile and the Canadian plains and parts of the U.S. Mid-West. Kdammers (talk) 22:10, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers[change source]

I know we have to fight bloat, but how about hundred and thousand? Kdammers (talk) 19:07, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
