That said any accident between earth and an asteroid created the moon , we say then how many accidents cased the creation of about 20 satellites of Saturn and 63 Jupiter satellites .-- (talk) 16:24, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

As far as we know, the satellites of the major planets were captured by their strong gravity. The Earth's moon is a special case because a) it is large in relation to the size of the Earth, and b) we know that the chemistry of its rocks are almost identical to that of the Earth's crust and mantle together.
