Needs more content[change source]

@Qwertyxp2000: This feels incomplete. "Handshaking" has also been the term for two computers to establish a connection with each other. The handshake protocols were a cumbersome, but important, part of the scene when connections were at dial-up speeds. I'm no expert here; perhaps you can flesh this out.
