Fix background section[change source]

@16chseld 606: The section on "Background" doesn't really connect to the topic of Thoreau. Is it possible that you forgot to add a paragraph that explains how Thoreau's writing during this time period connected to the events? If not, it might just be easier to remove this section for now and leave the 2 other sections that you added, which do add substantial information on his influence and war resistance.
