This article is largely a repetition of https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Identity_(social_science). It doesn't meet the demands posed by its title (i.e. it is concerned with other issues than identity as a philosophical concept). It should be rewritten and the sections that are covered in the "Identity (social science)" article should be removed.
