Things to edit:

I think that the discussion with insulin resistance and diabetes is slightly confusing. I would phrase this sentence "Insulin resistance often causes certain types of diabetes mellitus, especially type 2 diabetes or latent autoimmune diabetes of adults. A condition called 'metabolic syndrome' is strongly tied to insulin resistance" as "insulin resistance can lead to type 2 diabetes."

Also, insulin cannot cause type 1 diabetes, which is an autoimmune disorder. This sentence is misleading. Insulin resistance might occur in a person with t1d; however, this is not the main pathology and I believe it gives an impression of causation.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Kirost2000 (talkcontribs) 20:52, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have better researched latent autoimmune disease, and have discovered that I am incorrect. Apologies, the post can stay as is. Kirost2000 (talk) 03:46, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
