Someone Explian[change source]

Not sure what this sentence means has any editor got any ideas The leftist group recorded in the 30s some success in the experiment, the division between Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland to overcome. BigDunc (talk) 20:51, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As a matter of fact the whole first paragraph of the Troubles section. BigDunc (talk) 20:53, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Major edit needed[change source]

Major edit of IRA article needed. I'm not sure if the writer is a non-native English speaker or if too many writers got their fingers in the pie, but I can't make any sense out of what's here. Please, someody with content knowledge and writing skills, clean up this piece. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.164.253.166 (talkcontribs) 17:42, July 10, 2009 (UTC)

Feel free to make the required changes. Please also note that yes, many of our editors are non-native English speakers. That is the very ethos of Simple English Wikipedia. Regards, fr33kman talk 18:39, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this is a problem. I sympathise with editors whose native language is not english, but the problems on this page are shocking! This is actually the first 'simple english' page I´ve come to on wikipedia, and a lot of it is completely unitelligible. I support the idea that non-native speakers should be able to contribute to wikipedia, but if the articles do not make sense then it will cause more problems for many other english students. I assume that many people use 'simple english' wikipedia because they believe that it will make it easier to understand the language, but if the writing is so confused that it doesn´t make sense to a native speaker then english students will damage their language development.--Wilfipedia (talk) 04:42, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
