There is literally an issue present on the page[change source]

@Macdonald-ross Explain your objection to fixing the issue listed on this article. Also, explain your objection to fixing the grammar of the article's text. SpikeballUnion (talk) 17:31, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You are making the changes. It is for you to explain what the problem is. Macdonald-ross (talk) 17:33, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The way I see it, it was a good simplification of the article. The outright revert of SpikeballUnion's change is perplexing. Chenzw  Talk  17:43, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I compared the article on En wiki side by side with our article, and found ours a considerably simplified version. I'm asking what was the issue to which his edits were directed. Macdonald-ross (talk) 18:56, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Macdonald-ross I think you fail to see the heading of this section. There is an issue posted to the top of this page for complicated text. There were also grammar issues. No Wikipedia article is yours, even if you created most of the text. Your edit history on his article seems to suggest that you indeed wish to keep it in your vision. Other users have disagreed with your edits here too. The issue staying where it was represented the community consensus that there was an issue with the page. I fixed the grammar and simplified the language according to the issue, leading me to remove the issue. You then reversed my edit, re-adding the issue and the language errors that were responsible for it. This is very perplexing behaviour indeed, as Chenzw has mentioned. Seeing as the consensus was that there was an issue with the article (as is posted on the top of the article) and that your reversion was confusing, and that no response has been made on this thread, I'm going to re-add the grammar and comprehensibility fixes. Problematic content deleted[change source]

I just deleted the map and the section "Semitic peoples" for the following reasons:
