Obvious points[change source]

So he was a slave, therefore he was black? Why don't we say so? And add him to the Category:African-Americans, and Category:Slaves and Category:Educators. Much more work needed here. Macdonald-ross (talk) 05:54, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the categories and yes he was "black", I directly copied this article in from enwiki and there (as it may be here haven't read enough simple policies yet) it is really frowned upon to say black in the article. Complex[change source]

I am slowly attempting to make the article less and less complex. Any help anyone can offer in doing so I would greatly appreciate it.
