Yes, this article does replicate a chart which has been removed from en:Japanese era name. In this article, I mirrored the complementary table and simple format found in List of Emperors of Japan.

This list or table of era names and names of Emperors is necessary. This article is a stand-alone explanation of a historical calendar; and it provides a context for the currently used Japanese dating system. This article provides a foundation for expanding the set of 200+ short articles about the many era names.

This article is also a necessary complement and corollary of an overview article, the List of Emperors of Japan and the 100+ short articles which need to be created about each of these Japanese soverigns.

My first attempt to create this article was deleted too quickly. I created a new draft in a sandbox and then copied it here. --Tenmei (talk) 01:32, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, just so you know, it was a bot that tagged the article, not a human editor. Another editor also reverted the bot's action. Kansan (talk) 01:34, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please take another look at Japanese era name. For me, the important part is the table. When the articles about 200+ eras are started, I plan to Simplify the table by deleting the "meaning" column from the format.

In this version, I used the introduction of List of Emperors of Japan as a model; but perhaps you would suggest changes? --Tenmei (talk) 01:47, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the tag, however, you need to attribute the en.wiki page. Please do copy the URL of "Permanent link", in the left-side bar. After that, copy {{enwp based|url=THE PERMANENT LINK}} under this comment. And this should be done. --Diego let's talk 01:35, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand this; but I don't think it matters because each word and sentence is my own. The inline citations, the bibiliographic reference sourcs and the formatting of the table are my work.
However, I do need to understand this. For example, I noticed that there is no article on the current Prime Minister of Japan. If I were to try to create an article about Yukio Hatayama, I would use the English article as a template. This not my work and I would likely need to do what you suggest. --Tenmei (talk) 01:59, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well. Please read WP:CW. There's all the info you might want to know. --Diego let's talk 02:10, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is a follow-up to WP:Simple talk#Improving article quality.

Using RENDER Toolkit, the links in List of Japanese eras are reviewed here. --Horeki (talk) 14:02, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
