Claims that Hitler became angry when Hamsun visited Hitler (in Germany)[change source]

Some sources say the following:

  • Hitler and Hamsun did meet (in Germany). The meeting was not by chance.
  • During the meeting Hitler became angry.
  • During the meeting Hamsun mentioned the name of another person, at least.
  • Mentioning the other person, and some details about the status (prisoner status?) of the other person, resulted or contributed to Hitler's anger during the meeting.

Someone might want to add details about that. Sju hav (talk) 18:26, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Points that someone else might consider adding to the article[change source]

  • After World War Two, he was arrested by police. He did go thru at least one trial, which is part of ["the Hamsun process"] Hamsun-prosessen. He was fined a significant amout. Perhaps some sources say that the fine was supposed to bankrupt him. Sju hav (talk) 11:42, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
