I am a bit concerned. What is its subfamily? Beetles are the most numerous order of insects and need classification down to subfamily level so as to explain what kind of life they have. On the other hand, lists of species are not useful except in special cases like the Colorado beetle. Too many species! Above all on Simple, readers want to know what kind of animal it is, and how it lives its life. All this is normal except when there is no English wiki or German page then authors have to depend on other sources. In this case the other sources seem pretty thin, leaving the article with just one line of prose... Another thing, when English don't even list it as a red link, the one has to wonder whether the genus name has been changed. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:15, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
