Mental health[change source]

Hi TDKR Chicago 101, I noticed that the study from Columbia University is talking about all mass murders around the world, not just mass shootings in the US. Right now, the sentence is confusing and grammatically wrong. But it could be rewritten to say that mental illnesses were the main cause in 8% of mass shootings. How about now? @Lights and freedom: TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 01:10, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@TDKR Chicago 101 They found that 1,315 out of 14,785 mass murders (not necessarily shootings) were caused by personal motives. Of these 1,315, 11% of the murderers had a serious mental illness. If you count only the mass shootings out of these 1,315 murders, 8% of the shooters had a serious mental illness. Lights and freedom (talk) 01:14, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see. I've adjusted the sentence. @Lights and freedom: TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 01:16, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@TDKR Chicago 101 It was still a bit confusing, so I changed it a bit. Should be good now. Lights and freedom (talk) 01:26, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
