Real Money

i need to know what people called America's first paper money?

The answer would depend on the usage of the term America. If used as The Americas then you would be talking of unnamed paper banknotes from French Canada around 1685 which were printed on playing cards. It could also refer to the Massachusetts Bay colony's use of banknotes in the early 1690s. If you are using America as United States, then officially it has been the dollar since before the US was originally created. The US Dollar was first accepted on 8 August 1786 and later officially adopted as part of Coinage Act of 1792. -- Creol(talk) 00:08, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
