Issues with this page[change source]

No attribution

Article needs secondary reliable sources. It currently has only primary sources.

The category "Magazines" should be diffused to a more specific category.

Complex words/phrases: continuously, supplements, edition, global, circulation, undergone (actually, that word is used incorrectly anyway: it applies to actions or processes, not to people)

Vocabulary issue: when describing the subject of the magazine's articles, use the word about, not the word of.

Problems with simplification:

  • This page says that map supplements are included. The enwiki article says that this is only with subscription copies, not all copies.

I've simplified the page, though now I'm gonna have to find good references, because on the enwiki page, there are not too many good references to use. Most of them are primary. I better get somebody for help. Angela Maureen (talk) 07:19, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You did some good changes there! The outstanding things are:
  • Just one complex word left: continuously
  • I didn't mean you should remove the primary sources, just that secondary ones are also needed.
  • "Globe" is not a good link for the "global" in this sense. Sometimes the word globe is used to mean the world. I would use worldwide: it's not on the list of simple words, but it might be the best one here anyway.
  • "Monthly magazines" is a good category. It would be good to also include "American magazines".

I added the "American magazines" category, removed continuously. I also readded references. Angela Maureen (talk) 11:33, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good -- The New York Times is an excellent source. The only other thing I would do is be more specific about the awards. I'm sure the magazine has won many awards: what awards were these and why was winning them notable? --Auntof6 (talk) 16:41, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I made the awards section more specific. Is this article ready now? Angela Maureen (talk) 17:07, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
