  • There is a dispute as to whether the title should have upper case initials or not. Prime Minister or prime minister? Whichever, it has to be consistent. An En wiki editor has changed our title without the courtesy of a discussion. The one point of agreement is that both words go together: they are either capitalised or not capitalised. If not capitalised, then every time the term starts a sentence it is "Prime minister". Like much of the British system of government, the term grew over a long period into a formal title. It is formal now because it is reserved for the head of government, which in many other countries is the President. Capitalised. And if we shorten the term it is 'PM'. Many countries have a "President" who may be almost completely without executive power, or have nearly unlimited power. Anyway, now is the time to express your opinion as to whether we go capital or lower case. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:54, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
