Prometheus was also the name of Frankenstein's Monster. --69.67.229.174 02:02, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe Frankenstein was the name of Frankenstein's monster. PullToOpenTalk 02:29, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, the monster was never named until it started appearing in movies as Frankenstein. Calling it Frankenstein is a hollywood thing. The Prometheus from the subtile (Frankenstein, or a modern Prometheus) refers to the doctor not the monster. The entire book is about the doctor himself, his monster is nothing more than an unnamed plot device to tell the story of the doctor. -- Creol(talk) 07:05, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
