The page has been edited several times recently, but go ahead and edit it! That's what we're here for! JetLover Bam! 03:58, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Really? I checked the history to make sure i wasn't stomping anyone elses work and the last change was in Sept 2006, but I'm in the process of rewriting and restructuring it a little and I'm new to simple wiki so please comment on it as it goes and leave plenty of scathing criticism :) Tryx 04:14, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, there were several changed this month. [1] JetLover Bam! 04:17, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite[change source]

I plan to do major work on this article during September 2008. I will be grateful for help, especially wikifying it. Cwilsyn (talk) 14:34, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hurricane Ike came nearby, but I will get to work soon. Cwilsyn (talk) 07:22, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

how to become a psychologist[change source]

This still needs work, but I rewrote it to explain what the degrees involve rather than focus only on the initials representing them. Then I was immediately reverted by someone who has not contributed before and who gave no explanation. I have brought the newer version back. I do not want to start a revert war but I think the older version was less helpful. What was the problem? I am a Ph.D. psychologist. Cwilsyn 69.153.71.32 (talk) 08:56, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

QoL-X Summer Interns coming to Simple English Wikipedia pages[change source]

Hello watchers of this page! I'm Dr Mel with the nonprofit project QoL-X.org. We've got a great group of psychology students and other fabulous interns working together over the summer, and we want to help flesh out and improve the Simple English Wikipedia pages, especially those in psychology. We have a small grant from wikimedia foundation to support a couple editathons. Would love experienced wikipedians help! Please let me know if you're interested in more details. And, if you're one of the interns, please leave a signed Hello note here! Thanks! DrMel (talk) 00:07, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, but: please take seriously our remit to write in simple English, not the usual style found on main English wiki. We'll remove unsimplified copy/pastes. My advice is to get the students to do the work on sub-pages, and check their work before placing the new material on the wiki articles. We do welcome new editors, but previous experiences with groups of students have made us a trifle apprehensive. Previously we were left with a huge task of clearing up afterwards. A modest amount of work well done is far more useful to us than a huge amount poorly done. Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:50, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
