Jailing and taking of daughters[change source]

First of all, I simplified the language a bit. Second, I took out the sentence that said "If there was no money or goods, they would commonly jail these wayfarers until their family could pay, or, if one had a daughter onborad, take her for his pleasure and let the passers go." I couldn't find any mention of that anywhere and it's fairly harsh to say. Is there a source for this? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 09:02, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
