Can someone upload The Jagex Logo and the Runescape Logo on here? If you can, it would be great! --Criminal9021 17:34, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Criminal9021[reply]

This page seems a little too partisan. It could be more neutral and still be helpful to potential gamers. Reasonably simple IMHO but some cleanup required. Sue W 16:49, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Djb, please provide rationale as to why you think that this article doesn't have a neutral point of view. Thanks, Razorflame 20:05, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was just about to do so sorry. "Runescape was one of the very first online games to support the PvP (player verses Player) abilities. RSC (Runescape Classic) had a fairly bad PvP system, but since then, with the release of Runescape 2, it has gotten a lot better."

This sentence is clearly not neutral. It says that something called "PvP system" was bad but is now better. On what can an enyclopedia decide whether something was bad but now better?

Under the section "History"

"the game that is playable today from [1]."

I think the link would fit better down the article.

"The game has over 160,000 players on the game servers at any one time, and 200,000 on peak times such as weekends."

Prove it.

I play Runescape very often, and I can prove to you that it has between 160k and 200k people online at any one time. If you want, I can link this to the homepage of the game so that you can see that it does indeed have that many players playing it. Cheers, Razorflame 20:13, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you say so I believe you. Djb26 (talk) 20:17, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"They don't even stop you from playing the free game but it is very limited."

The word "you" should never be used in an encyclopedia, same goes for 'even" in this context.

"To become a member on Runescape 2 requires a $5 USD per month by credit card. There are multiple ways to pay such as by texting, calling, Paypal, or mailing cash orders in(the prices vary for these)"

I doubt whether this information is usefull in an encylopedia.

I belive that such information is kind of in the middle of the spectrum. I can think of reasons why this is important, but at the same time, I can think of ways that it isn't important. All together, I believe that this can be taken out. Cheers, Razorflame 20:20, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope this is the needed information, if not, I am sorry. Djb26 (talk) 20:11, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem. Cheers, Razorflame 20:13, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please reply on the rest of the things? Djb26 (talk) 20:27, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The rest of the stuff is clearly not neutral and needs to be changed to something that is neutral. Cheers, Razorflame 23:35, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Complex[change source]

I am finding much of the sentence structure and a few words to be quite complex in nature, particularly in the History section.

Such words as form and playable have easier substitutes to understand. Kyle.66 (talk) 02:52, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Needs cleanup[change source]

I removed some clear bullshit and irrelevant things. 88.112.127.56 (talk) 15:39, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
