Edits reverted[change source]

These edits were reverted by Rsk6400 who said the sources used were not reliable. There were three different sources used. Could someone explain why each one is unreliable? I reviewed this page but it seems clear that reliability is subjective because it depends on likelihoods. DoSazunielle (talk) 12:16, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The second one (CBC radio) is porbably reliable (Not talking content, just talking publisher); with the first one, there's a problem that the domain name does not match the thing given in the URL. --Eptalon (talk) 12:52, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DoSazunielle: To make sure that another editor is aware of your question, it is normally better to use "Ping", like I did at the beginning of this line (you can click on "Change source" to see the source code). CBC should be reliable, but your edit was not based directly on CBC, but on the "Canadian journalist" cited by CBC. We cannot base a statement on a single journalist challenging a narrative that is confirmed by many sources, but have to follow the majority of the sources ("the mainstream"). The third source is self-published, just a website that anybody can write. I didn't take a closer look at the first one. --Rsk6400 (talk) 13:49, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Rsk6400: OK I'm going to put back in the first source and see if I can find better ones for the other two. DoSazunielle (talk) 14:25, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
