In spite of keeping things simple with this page....[change source]
Most people in North America knows the video game system as Sega Genesis. Some people will scratch their head when it comes to the name "Mega Drive". In keeping things simple on the English Language Wikipedia, I think the article name should be "Sega Genesis" and not "Sega Mega Drive" 67.159.157.197 (talk) 00:45, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

- North American sales (according to the article) exceeded all other areas combined, but the number of people who know the device as the "Mega Drive" probably exceeds the number who know it as the "Genesis" -- in either case, there is a redirect on the page titled Sega Genesis and the article mentions both names for this ancient device.
