SODIUM

The color of sodium is a silvery-white metalic element. Also, a soft metal and can be molded or easily cut with any sharp object. Sodium is the sixth most common chemical in the earth's crust. sodium makes up about 2.8% of the crust. also, sodium never occurs pure in nature.

Sodium also combines with many other elements. Metal must be extract from compounds to obtain pure sodium. also, sodium belongs to a group of chemicals called the "alkali metals". some of the uses is that sodium is needed to help nutrients reach body cells, and plants need sodium to help their cells, too!
