A fact from Solingen arson attack appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know? column on 24 December 2010. The text of the entry was as follows:

...that the Solingen arson attack of 1993 caused Germany to ban some right-wing political groups?

The article lists the names of all involved. As a matter of policy, I don't think we should do this, even though the names are in the public records. For our purposes the sex and ages of those involved, and their ethnic background, should be enough. There should be a positive reason for everything which goes into an article.

The names are irrelevant, and there are others walking around with the same names. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:13, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
