Should this article say that Saint John's gospel is not normally counted as a synoptic gospel because it is believed to be written a considerable amount of time after Matthew, Mark and Luke?Vorbee (talk) 15:26, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm no expert on this, but I see the main distinction as one of content, from which some infer a difference of date. In view of the byzantine complexity of the discussion on En wiki, maybe we should leave this as it is. Macdonald-ross (talk) 16:47, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
