I believe that this page "Taoism" is a bit too small and I think that we need to put a bit more info on this and if you can't then that's cool because Taoism is a very old religion =) good luck guys =) — This unsigned comment was added by Geckoking (talk • changes)

Modern Taoism[change source]

This section swamps our rather small article with unsourced material about a modern sect. I can't find sources for anyone who matches the description "Lao Xue (b. 1937 - d. 2005)" – what is the equivalent in simplified Chinese characters? I even did a CategoryIntersect search of enwiki articles and couldn't find any Taoist philosopher whose lifespan matches those date ranges. I would appreciate a reply to my concerns about the sourcing and placing undue emphasis on modern minority groups. Osiris (talk) 00:50, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Since I haven't had any reply here, I've gone ahead and removed it again. Osiris (talk) 02:37, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mew Xacata has done research on Taoism and has theorized that Taoism may have originated in the British Isles during the 11th century CE by a young girl named "Lao Tzu," but we need more sources to confirm that. Just use your brains. Aidemus007 (talk) 13:58, 9 April 2023 (UTC) Aidemus007[reply]
