Well, the En page has a lot of problems which were imported here. The word "thoroughbred" is not capitalised in general text, see The Times and the Daily Telegraph. That's just incidental, but shows how the En page was written by some who were not really in touch. I think we can throw out the list of famous horses: it doesn't really add anything meaningful to our readers. We should add something about horse sales, which reach sensational prices. Also needed is some dope on how owners and breeders earn their money. "Covering" for example. I'm going to buy a copy of a racing paper tomorrow to see what they regard as newsworthy. Equestrian events also use thoroughbreds, and I think they have different sales to the racing types. Not quite sure about that, might be able to pick up a few points before I edit on this page again.
