Add a section for the 2020s[change source]
In 2022 alone 2 changes to the world map have occurred:
The Republic of Turkey changed their name to the Republic of Turkiye in May of 2022.
The Russian Federation annexed the Ukrainian Oblasts of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson on September 30th, 2022; Though not every map will note this.
Not to mention in 2020 the Taliban toppled the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan government and reestablished the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Brkmnly (talk) 03:43, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
