Im so confused. Was liguria apart of the treaty? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.115.155.18 (talkcontribs)

His want of a racist caste system had nothing to do with wanting to break the Treaty of Versailles. Please explain why you want that content there. Thank you, Vermont (talk) 17:03, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is equally as relevant as the statement about him wanting to exterminate Jews... it is dishonest not to tell the whole story if you are claiming to describe Hitler's 'major goals' on this page. Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 17:08, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Those were not his major goals in breaking the treaty, though; those were his major goals in general. See my edit, which addressed that concern. Vermont (talk) 18:33, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't even make sense. Can you explain? His extermination of Jews isn't directly relevant to the Versailles treaty, but if you are going to mention his goals you had better be honest and mention that he strove to create a caste system in Europe with Aryans at the top over Slavs, Latins and others, and not make up excuses to cover that up! Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 18:49, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That section of the article does not pertain to his overall goals; it pertains to what he wanted to achieve by breaking the treaty. Vermont (talk) 19:22, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So, why do you want to mention that he exterminated Jews but not that he wanted Germans or "Aryans" over everyone else in Europe? Cut the crap and be honest why you'd rather no one learn the truth. Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 19:43, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What are you insinuating? Vermont (talk) 20:03, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That you would rather people not know this was a goal of Hitler even though it's true Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 20:43, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please remain civil and focus your comments on content, not editors. This is the cause of your blocks on enwiki (I just noticed you were blocked). Please read WP:ONESTRIKE if you haven't already; it details how blocks on other wikis are considered here. In regards to the content in question, this article is about the Treaty of Versailles, not Hitler's overall goals, and the section about Hitler's breach of the treaty should only mention his goals in breaching the treaty. I think we should revert back to my last version, and perhaps wikilink to an article that will explain it more in depth. Thank you, Vermont (talk) 23:32, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This treaty was mostly to end a war between Germany and those same other nations, but doesn't make any significant mention of Jews, so if anything this should be more relevant than the goal of exterminating Jews. Your rationale escapes me totally. But I have a problem with the way that whole section is worded - very apologetic, in fact little different from what any Hitler apologist would write. I think the blatant point-of-view being pushed here deserves attention from a wider audience. Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 00:57, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Austria-Hungary?[change source]

Austria Hungary was never a part of the Treaty of Versailles and was instead split between the Austrian part (Saint-Germain-en-Laye) and the Hungarian part (Trianon).

Since this article is named "Treaty of Versailles" mentioning Austria Hungary doesn't make sense. FusionSub (talk) 10:27, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
