Is it necessary ?[change source]

Is it worth and necessary for Wikipedia to open pages detailing stories of movies. There are tens of thousands of movie stories in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and other languages in India most of which do not have any merits whatsoever and should be shown the way to a thrash box. Does Wikipedia fix standard norms and guidelines for such presentations? I saw a page about a Tamil movie 'vallavanukku vallavan'. Well, does it help anyone to widen his/her knowledge base in any angle? Sorry, I fail to understand ! Excuse me had I hurt anyone's feelings/sentiments !
