Suggestion to change title of article[change source]
In 2022, there was not an invasion in Eastern Ukraine. The invasion (in that part of the country), started in 2014.--There was not a new invasion - in Eastern Ukraine - in 2022; What happened in 2022, was that the low-level armed conflict became a war.--Since Eastern Ukraine was invaded in 2014 - and there was no retreat or end to warfare, then there was not an invasion there in 2022: there simply was much more warfare, that happened in 2022.--Another thing: the title affects what the lede can look like, or should look like. 46.15.21.18 (talk) 19:28, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
In all other parts of Ukraine (except Krimea), there was an invasion (or "new invasion") in 2022; in Eastern Ukraine it was a so-called invasion-since-2014. 46.15.21.18 (talk) 19:32, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
This particular article should maybe have a better title:
The current title ("Warfare in eastern Ukraine after Russia's 2022 invasion") seems to be accepted.
On January 1, 2022, an invasion had already been going on, for some years, in Eastern Ukraine.--Arguments can be made for various possible changes of title.--Other options for title, can possible be::
- Warfare in eastern Ukraine since the big 2022 Russian attack on the North, South and East
- Warfare in eastern Ukraine since the big February 2022 Russian attack on the North, South and East
- Warfare in eastern Ukraine since the 2022 Russian attack on the North, South and East
- Warfare in eastern Ukraine since the 2022 big Russian attack on the whole country
- Warfare in eastern Ukraine since the 2022 big Russian attack
- Warfare in eastern Ukraine since the big Russian attack in 2022.

Title change to Warfare in eastern Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian War[change source]
I think that the current title might not be the best as it isn’t specific to the conflict and time of the battles. That’s why I propose the title be changed to “Warfare in eastern Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian War”. This would make the article’s topic more clear and present a clear time of events on the page, as well as including fighting in Eastern Ukraine before the Russian invasion in 2022.
