Tameside

Tameside is a town in the North West of England. It is to the east of Manchester. It is part of Greater Manchester. It is named after the River Tame, which flows through the borough, and includes the towns of Ashton-under-Lyne, Audenshaw, Denton, Droylsden, Dukinfield, Hyde, Mossley and Stalybridge. Until 1974 the area was part of Lancashire.[1]
