Tappan, New York

Tappan (/tʌˈpæn/, TUH-pan) from the Lenape word "tuphanne" thought to mean "cold water," is a hamlet and census-designated place in the town of Orangetown, Rockland County, New York, United States. The population was 6,673 at the 2020 census.[1]
