Tatsuya Sakai (坂井 達弥, Sakai Tatsuya, born November 19, 1990) is a Japanese football player. He played for the Japan national team.
Biography[change | change source]
Sakai was born in Fukuoka on November 19, 1990. When he played for National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya, he also joined J1 League club Sagan Tosu in 2012. He also played for Matsumoto Yamaga FC (2015), V-Varen Nagasaki (2016) and Oita Trinita (2017) on loan. In 2018, he moved to Montedio Yamagata and played for the club in 2 season. In 2020, he moved to Thai League 1 club Samut Prakan City.
On September 5, 2014, Sakai debuted for the Japan national team against Uruguay.
