Usage

This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.

It is used by the template {{Lang}} with language code mi to include articles in Category:Articles containing Māori-language text. For example: {{Lang |mi |some text in Māori}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="mi">. Also available is {{Lang-mi |some text in Māori}} which displays as Māori: some text in Māori.

It is used by {{Link language|mi}} to display the language of an external link. This template could add articles to Category:Articles with Māori-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=mi |name=Māori}}).
