Usage
Template:ISO 639 name te is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code te, for example: {{Translated page |te |name of page at Telugu Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Telugu Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Telugu Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |te}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|te| some text in Telugu}} wraps the text with <span lang="te"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Telugu-language text. Also available is {{Lang-te |some text in Telugu}} which displays as Telugu: some text in Telugu.
- {{R from other language|te|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Telugu-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|te}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Telugu-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
