Usage
Template:ISO 639 name tl is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code tl, for example: {{Translated page |tl |name of page at Tagalog Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Tagalog Wikipedia and to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Tagalog Wikipedia.
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|tl| some text in Tagalog}} wraps the text with <span lang="tl"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Tagalog-language text. Also available is {{Lang-tl |some text in Tagalog}} which displays as Tagalog: some text in Tagalog.
- {{R from other language|tl|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Tagalog-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|tl}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Tagalog-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
