Usage
Template:ISO 639 name wa is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code wa, for example: {{Translated page |wa |name of page at Walloon Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Walloon Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Walloon Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |wa}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|wa| some text in Walloon}} wraps the text with <span lang="wa"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Walloon-language text. Also available is {{Lang-wa |some text in Walloon}} which displays as Walloon: some text in Walloon.
- {{R from other language|wa|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Walloon-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|wa}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Walloon-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
