Usage

This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.

It is used by the template {{Lang}} with language code zh to include articles in Category:Articles containing Chinese-language text. For example: {{Lang |zh |some text in Chinese}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="zh">. Also available is {{Lang-zh |some text in Chinese}} which displays as Chinese: some text in Chinese.

It is used by {{zh icon}} and {{Link language|zh}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with Chinese-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=zh |name=Chinese}}).
