Template:Radio Relay/doc

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a template to display the frequencies for FM translators, digital subchannels and repeaters for radio station infoboxes. The goal is to use this for uniform displaying of these relays, as well as for ease of use for both the editor and reader. This template is inspired by both the {{HD Radio}} and {{Frequency}} templates already in use on said infoboxes.

Usage[change source]

{{Radio Relay | [frequency] | [call sign] | [city of license] | [digital subchannel prefix (HD2, HD3, HD4)] }}

The last unit for a digital subchannel prefix is optional depending on the originating program source for the relay. As shown below, it does not need an extra | present if it is not needed.

Basic examples[change source]

Linking units[change source]

The units may be linked, this includes the city of license in the event the relay's city of license differs from the originating station. If there exists a separate page for the digital subchannel or the repeater/translator/satellite, that field too can be linked, as well as the digital subchannel prefix:
