Used to sign anonymous unsigned comments, as no User page should exist for anonymous IPs. This template is similar to {{unsigned IP}}, but with the arguments reversed for easier copying from the edit history.
Usage[change source]
All parameters[change source]
{{subst:unsignedIP2|user name|date}}
- date
- datestamp from edit history (remember to label it UTC)
- user name
- name or IP of user who left comment
The datestamp from the edit history appears in your local time that is set in your preferences.
In order for the time to be UTC, adjust it using the difference you designated between the server time and local time.

- With user parameter
Typing: {{subst:unsignedIP2|255.255.255.255|03:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)}} will yield:
—Preceding unsigned comment added by 255.255.255.255 (talk) 03:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Without user parameter
Typing: {{subst:unsignedIP2|2=03:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)}} will yield:
—Preceding unsigned comment added by an unspecified IP address (talk) 03:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
