Different results for links from title into Wikisource, wih simple Wikipedia performing differently to the English Wikipedia. Initialially noticed the issue with {{Cite Q}} (wikidata:Q19063894) But the best example of problem is with {{Cite Q}} (Wikidata:Q42854406), where the title links to [1] on the English Wikipedia but links to [2] here when it actually needs to link to the website (en.wikisource.org) rather than (simple.wikisource.org). Please investigate. Thankyou. -- User:Djm-leighpark(a)talk 16:59, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Djm-leighpark: Please raise this at en:Template_talk:Cite_Q - since that's where most of the work is based. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 16:27, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Mike Peel:. Not possible for me on :en due to indef blocking CIR & battleground with elements of Wikipedia Foundation and Wikimedia UK loosely associated with the block, thus you may have past/present COI and probably shouldn't get involved for your own good. I did trace the probable/possible area of the problem as relating to circa line 529 of Module:Q line 528 slink = ':s:'..wikisource_sitelink but suspect that statement may not have been executed so slink = mw.wikibase.getSitelink(qid) at 520 might be involved. I'd have to understand and go into the called function to try and guess further. It could be a code issue or a Simple Wiki only excpetion or configuation or code issue. Unfortunately I have plenty of other stuff on including uploading a load of photo's I took today. Thanks. -- 00:27, 9 October 2022 (UTC) User:Djm-leighpark(a)talk 00:27, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
