Does this template make sense? I think it should be more like "It has been suggested that this article be merged with {{{1}}} Archer7 16:29, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll be the first to admit the exact wording may be less than ideal, given that I was cut&pasting this and {mergefrom} at the same time, and tried to make as few changes as possible, and was trying to emphasize directionality (otherwise I would have just made a {merge} template). That said, part of the reason for the word choice is that I believe 'merge' is not simple enuf English, so "merged with", unexplained, doesn't seem sufficient to me. Also I still feel (tho' less strongly) that the directionality should be explicitly stated. Freshstart 21:31, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the images so that they are the opposite of the {{mergefrom}} arrows - before they were just general merge ones. Any comments? - tholly --Turnip-- 20:31, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
