Consistency is important. Without it, Wikipedia looks unprofessional. The message that I put there probably wasn't the best, but at least it was consistent with other stub templates. If an article cannot be expanded and is likely to be deleted, it should be deleted. We shouldn't make this template inconsistent for the sake of those articles that shouldn't exist. I disagree, too much consistency can be boring sometimes, if all the tags say almost the same thing, and we shouldn't insist on a rigid consistency for everything if there are practical reasons for slight variations. Common sense should prevail above all, on a case by case basis. I guess that is just a different philosophy. Blockinblox - talk 15:50, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Boring? Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a playground. I'm not saying that we should insist on strict non-negotiable consistency and I agree that common sense is important, but in this case I see no need to be intentionally inconsistent. J Di 20:26, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
